A Film Cooperative

Group Pictures was founded in 2014 by Luke and Jen Weber as an extension to their award winning theater company TheGonzoGroupTheatre. It is an independent film cooperative based on the belief that every person has a unique story to tell. Group Pictures is a place where those stories can be told. As John Cassevetes once said…

“…film is unimportant. People are important”

What’s a film cooperative? It’s a worker and audience owned production studio. Funding provided by our membership dues, payed through our Patreon, go directly to production costs for all films and series available exclusively to Group members. All productions pursued by the Group must first be approved by voting members of the cooperative.
